Teaching

Faculty placement for university students

Our collaboration with rural public schools provides the opportunity for skill exchange and sharing teaching techniques between local and overseas teachers.

Within a 1 hour drive, all of our partner schools are government run with very few of them accessing support from charity foundations. They provide free education to the local community children from grades 1–12. The schools operate 2 sessions with up to 40 students attending classes at any one time: morning (7am to 11am) and afternoon (1pm to 5pm), from Monday to Saturday.

Community impact

Working alongside local teachers is the best way to understand more about the Cambodia education system. It gives everyone involved the opportunity to share different ideas in terms of planning and sourcing lessons, and teaching techniques to improve student learning experiences. Students are able to practice and experience with native English speaking that helps to improve their language skill. Research and collecting resources are always a huge extra benefit for the schools and their students.
